Graduation rites for Medtranscribe scholars set

-
MedTranscribe Academy sets graduation rites for its first batch of medical transcription scholars today, November 10, at 6 p.m. in Intramuros, Manila.

Robert F. Ascaño, a B.S. Biology graduate from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila tops the list of graduates, according to Erishyl Ann Bernales, academy administrator, who will present the graduates and honorees in a fitting ceremony to be held at the PTA Tent in Intramuros.

The graduates came from as far as Samar, Nueva Vizcaya, Mindanao, Pampanga, Bulacan, Bicol and from depressed areas of Metro Manila, and include displaced OFWs. They were chosen from thousands of aspirants after they passed qualifying exams and interviews, following a nationwide search early this year.

"What makes the event more special and meaningful is the fact that among the graduates are differently-abled persons who will march down with their 'normal' counterparts," Bernales said.

Romulo L. Villarta, MedTranscribe president, said the company had set a standard in the industry of medical transcription with its Free Training Program with scholars enjoying the full benefits of free tuition and matriculation, free manuals and materials, free meals, free uniform including shoes, free air-conditioned board and lodging for provincial-based trainees, free transportation and daily allowances, while enjoying the convenience of individualized workstations and air-conditioned training facilities.

MedTranscribe continues to accept applicants, including walk-ins.

Employment of all graduates of the medical transcription course is guaranteed, according to Villarta. MedTranscribe offers high-value employment terms and conditions, with above-industry salary rates, benefits and remuneration, plus a working environment that is labor-friendly.

MedTranscribe is one of the newest companies to venture into the fast-growing medical transcription business. Organized only on March 29 this year in Manila, it is now a 100-workstation MT service provider with a representative office in Las Vegas, Nevada, to establish market presence and to provide direct client support services.

The Manila office is strategically located at 1970-Taft Avenue, Malate.

Topping the guest list in the graduation rites this Friday are Representatives Joey Hizon of the 5th District of Manila and Marcelino Libanan of Eastern Samar. TESDA Director General Augusto "Buboy" Syjuco, MTIAPI president Myla Rose Reyes and Dr. Evangeline Escobar, vice president of St. Mary's University in Nueva Vizcaya will deliver inspirational messages.
