Fashion and jewelry designer Joyce Peñas Pilarsky recently celebrated her birthday in the most fashionable way.
The celebration, held on board a cruise ferry, featured a runway show with models wearing Joyce’s creations. Those who walked the runway were diplomats, Best Dressed Women of the Philippines, socialites and former beauty queens.
Aside from the splendid clothes, Joyce’s award-winning jewelry pieces were also featured during the runway intermission.
Guests enjoyed the cocktails and the unveiling of the cover of the Hollywood Weekly Asia magazine’s September 2016 issue, featuring Joyce on the cover — a huge honor as only celebrities and well-known personalities are chosen to grace the cover of the magazine. The celebration also served as the grand launch of the magazine in Asia.
Even as the enjoyable night went on, philanthropic Joyce still had the needy in her mind and heart, as the proceeds of the event were for the benefit of the street children of Gintong Palad Foundation.
Joyce is truly a lovely woman inside and out. Here’s to more years of passion and originality!
