MANILA, Philippines - Cynthia Chua is a visionary. In the mid-‘90s, she founded the Spa Esprit Group, a lifestyle empire, which she believed would fill a gap in the market and provide interesting services that she deemed had been lacking. In 2002, she opened the first Strip branch in Singapore, a waxing salon that offers a range of services and post-wax care products.

In 2009, Harem Inc. brought Strip to Manila to the delight of countless Filipinos. Since then, Strip has become a leader in the field of depilation, always managing to stay ahead of the curve.

The waxing salon prides itself in providing the best painless IPL (Intense Pulsed-Light) System. Its “waxperts” have undergone eight weeks of grueling training at the Strip Academy helmed by ITEC-certified trainers. These waxperts also go through an annual rigorous recertification program to ensure that they consistently provide the same high-quality service for their clients.

Strip has strict in-house hygiene processes surrounding its IPL treatments. Its therapists wear masks and disposable gloves and only use disposable razors and clean all tools with hospital-grade disinfectant before treatment.

The waxing salon also offers a wide range of efficacious post-care products specifically developed to help optimize results and address any concerns that clients may have.

Since it was established, the award-winning waxing salon has served over three million clients in its 40 stores located in nine major cities including London, New York, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
