MANILA, Philippines - The scent of spring and summer is not yet gone as Bric’s, the 60-year-old Italian manufacturer of luggage and bags, recently showcased its latest collections at its stores in Shangri-La Plaza East Wing and SM Aura Premier.
These new collections reflect Bric’s values of research, tradition, innovation and functionality as the brand strives to constantly renew its products aimed at a harmonious combination of taste, style, quality, modernity and usage comfort.
Life (Coral) — The new coral shade for this core collection of Bric’s was restyled in terms of shape and details. It has streamlined trims for a more essential and elegant image. The collection is composed of the core traveling items like the compound trolley, shoulder and wheeled carry-ons, and vanity bags.
The Life collection’s main material is a waterproof PVC base on which glued cotton and viscose flock are drummed to obtain the signature suede leather effect. The trimmings are made from bovine genuine tanned leather and the interiors are made from polyester.
Life Pelle — “Pelle” is the Italian word for leather and this collection is made from bovine vegetable tanned leather. This means that the leather dressing is done using only vegetable tannins, which is an old artisan Tuscan method that works to keep the natural features of leather and ensures that the leather used is chrome, pentachlorophenol and chemical coloring-free. The leather is designed to age when used to reflect a beautifully vintage look.
Sintesis (Coral) — These hard case and lightweight trolleys are composed of two polycarbonate shells connected through a zip fastener wrapped in a PVC band for added durability and protection against wear and tear. The handles and details, which serve to make the collection stand out, are made from genuine leather.
