Prom-enade!
In anticipation of prom season, designers Ronaldo Arnaldo, Rem Divino and Luis “Chito†de los Santos showcase their latest eveningwear collections.
Arnaldo draws from his signature clean lines with sleek silhouettes in pastel and nude tones. De los Santos builds on his strength as an artist who reads the feminine pulse quite keenly with his thoughtful combination of satin and stretch lace in pink and berry hues. Divino goes dramatic with peacock green gowns made of gazar.
De los Santos explains, “Gowns are still the most popular go-to ensembles for prom season. Lately, however, we have been seeing a lot of dresses take center stage.â€
Arnaldo agrees, “I think prom-goers are very practical now and they choose to have elegant dresses that they can use in other occasions. For a high school student, senior or junior, an event that requires a gown is so infrequent but a party that needs a lovely dress? There are more of those!â€
