A fete for the Lhuilliers

Prominent couple Jun and Nene Leonor recently hosted a dinner for Philippine Ambassador to Portugal Philippe Lhuillier and wife Edna, who were in Manila for a short vacation. It was actually a working vacation for Philippe as he met with Portuguese businessmen while here in the country.
Over a dinner of croquetas, US beef belly, fillet of apahap, and paella with Portobello mushrooms and truffle oil at Cirkulo restaurant, the Lhuilliers mingled with a powerhouse group of guests that included Dr. Elenita Binay, Dr. Loi Ejercito, Felicito “Tong†Payumo, Ambassadors Isabel Caro-Wilson, Tonet Lagdameo and Cristina Ponce-Enrile.
The Lhuilliers are now back in Portugal. Thank you, Jun and Nene, for your graciousness!
Celebrating at The Tivoli
An intimate birthday dinner was tendered by lawyer Rene Puno and his lovely wife Ann for the man who made the Bergamo brand synonymous with world-class, custom-tailored men’s formal wear, Mel Meer.
At the elegant Tivoli restaurant of Mandarin Oriental Manila, the Bergamo CEO turned restaurateur was visibly happy with the select guests that included Bulgari and Hermès Philippines country manager Mario Katigbak, Vicky Lopez, American songwriter and lyricist Roxanne “Roxy†Seeman and couturier Ito Curata.
