Bold statement
Fashion is all about the brave and bold. In September, Kenneth Cole New York celebrates its 30th anniversary with a series of collections and events called 30YearsBold.com.
In the Philippines, the brand recently held a successful fashion show at its newly opened branch at High Street Central, Bonifacio Global City in Taguig. Presented to the press and special guests were 24 exclusive looks (flown in from the Big Apple) selected from the brand’s Fall/Winter 2013 collection that was on the runways of New York Fashion Week last February.
The brand showcased a visionary narrative reflective of its hometown — New York City. Fashion, in the melting pot of diversity, unveils a collective fusion of style in contrasts. From color to fabrication, technology, silhouette and detailing, the current look and feel channel the city’s contemporary lifestyle. The clear-cut statement focuses on modern layering that’s relaxed and ideal for the concrete jungle setting. Real clothes for real people essentially echo through a seamless, practical wardrobe evoking function and form for both men and women.
(In the Philippines, Kenneth Cole New York is exclusively distributed by Stores Specialists Inc. and is located at the Power Plant Mall, Bonifacio High Street Central, Rustan’s Makati and Shangri-La Plaza Mall.)
