In the retail stylescape, forward brand Raoul presents its nature-inspired collection for Spring/Summer ‘13. Modern creations blending both urban and the environment display significant and forward fashion. The natural freshness of the aspirational theme springs from artisanal sensibilities such as pleating, tucking, lacemaking, embroidery, beading and embellishment. The traditional art and discipline is modernized and marked through new forms, cuts and clean lines.
This season, nature paints Raoul’s collection with an up-to-date palette of hues such as titaniun, rosewater and cameo complemented by warm earthy and brownish tones. Prints unfold in a range of fabrics that emphasize practicality and versatility. Amazing textures like soft leather transcends into modern forms from their “cold weather†look into the sunny side of summer. The pretty and contemporary leather, which is detailed at the hemlines or in laser-cut patterns, echoes functionality that displays relevant and wearable style. Of course, there’s luxe silk that captures day-to-night wear with the simplicity and elegance that’s au naturel.
