Alluring, brave, charming, caring — the alphabet will not run out of letters to describe the always-glamorous artist and bon vivant Vicky Zubiri.
The Tuscan seaside, a Basque scenery in the ‘30s, a reclining tiger and keyholes are just some of the images depicted at Vicky’s second solo exhibit called Point of Perspective: Inspired Moments in Chinese and Western Watercolour held at The Gallery of The Peninsula Manila.
Vicky painted the scenes from her many travels not just from memory but also from the soul. The art show, held for the benefit of Rayomar Outreach Foundation, a welfare institution founded by Vicky’s daughter-in-law Anna Garcia-Zubiri for abandoned children, was a sellout on the very first day.

The fun never stops with Minerva
Every year, the affable Minerva Tanseco leads a group of ladies who lunch for a fun get-together. This year, the group decided to have a children’s party-themed gathering filled with exciting and wacky games, quizzes, raffle draws and laughter at Minerva’s posh residence.
An endless buffet of the group’s timeless favorites made the annual feast even merrier. The members of the lovely group are definitely looking forward to this exhilarating yearly affair, thanks to Minerva’s creative and ingenious party ideas that never fail to amaze her guests!
