Glitter and elegance

- Karen Gerardine Pangan - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - It was a day filled with glitter and elegance recently at Miladay. The country’s leading fine jewelry provider turned yet another page in its legacy as it unveiled its latest collection at the relaunch of its newly refurbished store at Glorietta 4 in Makati City.

The brand’s latest collection called Belle d’ automne drove the lady guests to immediately purchase pieces for themselves as they were attracted by the uniqueness of the jewelry.

Inspired by the elements of nature and the colors of autumn, the collection featured natural colored diamonds, a first in the Philippine jewelry industry. These earthy colored diamonds sparkled in the earrings, bracelets, rings and pendants of Belle d automne. Setting them apart from the usual pieces offered in the world of jewelry is their natural, organic form. Once again, Miladay proved how exceptional it is when it comes to producing beautifully designed and finely executed creations.

The newly renovated Miladay store at Glorietta 4 also matched the allure of the collection launched that day. Conceptualized by the Dayrit siblings and executed by in-house designer Mike Mina, the branch’s new look featured a contemporary theme that perfectly complemented the jewelry store’s elegance with its sleek clean lines and neutral light toned woods in Zebrano patterns. The breathtaking creations were punctuated by the vitrines strategically placed inside the store, which has been expanded twice its former size for the comfort of the clients.

Gracing the event were Makati City Mayor Junjun Binay, Ayala Land vice president and head of business development and strategic planning Rowena Tomeldan and Miladay endorser Karylle. They all cut the ribbon together with Yvonne Dayrit-Romualdez, Jaqui Dayrit-Boncan and Mark Dayrit. Other guests who graced the event were Monina Lopez, Yvette Fernandez, Annette Gozon-Abrogar, Joey Abacan, Mia Ragasa and Karylle’s grandmother, Maria Perez-Padilla. Chef Jessie Sincioco provided the sumptuous food for the night.

Consistent with its Miladay Today campaign, which encourages loving oneself in order to love others, the jewelry company’s recent ventures prove how dedicated the brand is in moving forward to give the best to its consumers.

Aside from its store in Glorietta 4, Miladay also has branches in Alabang Town Center, SM Mall of Asia, Glorietta 4, The Podium, The Block in SM North EDSA, TriNoma North Triangle and SM City Taytay.
