Menswear retail is the big thing in the Philippines today. There is an outburst in the market with everything new in the scene. Countless brands are rising to the occasion to match the demand that’s inevitably growing.
Breaking into the arena is a small-scale yet promising name called Flying Dutchman. The brand aesthetically presents trendy and classic pieces for men that’s affordable. Boasting a range of graphic tees, polos, jackets, pants and shoes, it offers a classic/trendy casual look fitting for all generations.
College friends Jonathan Tolentino, Stanley Estrada, Cha Pornea and Rudolph Leonor came up with an idea of creating a brand for Filipino men that’s stylish, comfortable and inexpensive. The team behind Flying Dutchman proudly says that it supports products from the different livelihood communities in the Philippines. At the moment, its merchandise can be ordered online. The team members, however, prepare for the launch next year of their flagship store that will carry a complete menswear, including shoes and accessories.
In redefining local retail menswear, Flying Dutchman is the next big thing to look out for.
