June bride

June is traditionally known to be the bridal month and to celebrate the wedding season, four of Manila’s fashion designers have shared their latest nuptial designs with Uptown/Downtown.

Designer Luis de los Santos stays true to his soft, romantic silhouettes, artfully using bead, lace and flower-cut embellishments. Joel Bautista goes dramatic with his asymmetrical and bi-layered gowns with pearl, feather and crystal details. Ronaldo Arnaldo creates a structured, traditional gown that draws inspiration from British royalty and designs another with an opposite silhouette-soft, modern yet Gatsby-esque in appeal. The fashion line Viola offers sexy shapes with simple but elegant details, using jersey and stretch satin for a sleeker fit and added comfort.
