The place to be this summer

- Johnny Litton -

“Travel and change of place impart new vigor to the mind.”  — Seneca

Whether for relaxation, romance or family fun, Plantation Bay Resort and Spa in Mactan Island, Cebu City is the place to be this summer. Nothing beats its annual Summer Frolix promo where one can stay up to six nights for the price of three and enjoy P5,000 worth of giveaways on food and beverages, spa experience and island cruises! Offered to all local residents and balikbayans, this fabulous treat is ongoing until June 30.

This summer, the resort becomes one big carnival with game booths for guests of all ages and an acrobat show on Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

‘Tastes of Thailand’

Officially opening the festivities are Thai Airways International country manager Sern Chupikulchai (second from left) and wife Priyanuch, guest of honor Dr. Elenita Binay, Mandarin Oriental, Manila GM Mark Bradford and Tourism Authority of Thailand representative Dave de Jesus.

The exotic flavors of Thailand’s cuisine is the right choice for those who want to have an unforgettable dining experience.

Recently, food aficionados gathered at the cozy Paseo Uno of the exquisite Mandarin Oriental, Manila to get a taste of the mouthwatering Thai delicacies served during the ongoing Thai Food Festival. Led by the dynamic GM Mark Bradford, guests totally enjoyed the dishes delicately prepared by Thai master chef Sumet Sumpachanyanont. With help from the Thai Embassy and corporate partners, the event marked the fifth time the hotel hosted the extravagant Tastes of Thailand.

Among those who attended were Dr. Elenita Binay, Thai Airways International country manager Sern Chupikulchai and his wife Priyanuch.

Congratulations to Mark Bradford and Mandarin Oriental, Manila for another successful event!
