Still sprightly at 80
“Yesterday is but today’s memory, tomorrow is today’s dream.” — Kahlil Gibran
Chloe Romulo-Periquet, co-chairwoman of the Friends for Cultural Concerns of the Philippines and flamenco dancer, turned 80 recently and celebrated the milestone with family and friends over a sumptuous dinner at the Top of the Citi restaurant in Makati City. Together with her charming children Rodrigo, Carissa and Raoul, the sprightly civic leader had a great time entertaining her VIP guests Beth Day-Romulo, Ambassadors Isabel Caro-Wilson and Jesus “Chuching” Tambunting, Joe Concepcion and Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. corporate vice chairman Cesar Virata with wife Joy, among others.
Many happy returns of the day, Chloe!
