Let the Earth smile

MANILA, Philippines - In pursuit of beauty, tourism and social-environmental responsibility, Filipino brand Ever Bilena joined hands with Carousel Productions Inc., organizer of Miss Philippines-Earth and Miss Earth pageants, in choosing the world’s ambassadors in protecting and preserving Mother Earth.

With the theme, “The Earth is Crying, Let the Earth Smile Again,” Miss Ecuador Olga Alava recently bagged the coveted Miss Earth 2011 crown during the coronation night at the UP Theater in Diliman, Quezon City. Her personal environmental advocacy is preserving the forests and planting more trees.

Eighty candidates took pleasure in makeup demonstrations and photo-ops. They also received Ever Bilena giveaways during their corporate visit. Ms. Chinese-Taipei, Cherry Liu, who was also Miss Photogenic, won the Miss Ever Bilena title and received cash, trophy, sash and one year supply of Ever Bilena cosmetics.
