A very Filipino send-off party

A very Filipino farewell dinner complete with lechon, lumpia and other native delicacies was hosted by Baby Cruz, together with her family Tisha and Andy Bautista, Carla and Boey Cruz, for her guests from the US — brother Aquiles Gaborro and US Homeland Security’s Anthony Lew.
A highlight that night was when Tisha’s children Xavier, Mateo, Alvaro and Jacobo sang Katy Perry’s Fireworks.
Seen enjoying the party were Gan Advanced Osseointegration Center founder and president Dr. Steve Mark Gan, Dr. Daniel Vazquez, Miss World Philippines country director Cory Quirino and US Embassy officials Robert Strang and Robert Courtney III.
That was a really lovely despedida, Baby!

Former Ambassador to Spain Isabel Caro Wilson hosted a cocktail and dinner party at her condominium in Madrid, which, coincidentally, is located on Ave. Islas Filipinas, a block away from a replica of the statue of our national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal in Luneta (now Rizal Park). The event was attended by Filipino residents in Madrid, diplomats and VIPs, among them, Philippine Ambassador to Spain Carlos Salinas and his wife Lita Tanseco-Salinas, Pepe Rodriguez and wife Lulu, Mari Borao, Carol Aboitiz, Quina Menendez and Paqui Aboitiz.
It was a fun-filled evening enjoyed by good friends. Bravo, Isabel!
