Fete for former Ambassador to Italy

Charity advocates Jun and Nene Leonor recently hosted a luncheon in honor of former Philippine Ambassador to Italy Philippe Lhuillier and his lovely wife Edna. Held at the Manila Polo Club, the afternoon party had philanthropist Imelda Cojuangco, Guatemala Consul Mellie Ablaza, Monaco Consul General Fortune Ledesma, Dr. Loi Ejercito and former Ambassador to the Vatican Cristina Ponce Enrile among its VIP guests.
Meet the newest knight
After two years of active participation and immersion in the Order’s noble works of charity, spiritual formation and traditions, Bobby Novenario was recently knighted in the Order of Malta during investiture ceremonies at the Santuario de San Antonio in Forbes Park. The investiture was presided over by Archbishop of Manila, Gaudencio Cardinal Rosales, and the Order’s president Don Ernesto Rufino Jr.

Bobby is now Don Roberto de los Reyes Novenario Jr., Knight of the Magistral Grace of the Order of Malta Philippines. The investiture Mass was concelebrated by Bishop Pedro Dean, Bishop Ricardo Baccay, Bishop Prudencio Andaya, Bishop Rodolfo Beltran, Bishop Paciano Aniceto and 20 priests including Santuario de San Antonio parish priest Fr. Joel Sulse and chaplains Fr. Gene Dina and Monsignor Bong Lo. Well-known philanthropist Imelda Cojuangco graced the special affair. Congratulations, Don Roberto!
