Fashion is a serious business
MANILA, Philippines - Many a fashion insider would attest that the fashion industry is a serious — and highly competitive — business. In the cutthroat industry that worships both talent and technique, it is always important to be up-to-date, fashion-forward and evolving.
The people behind M&Co. are well aware of this. As the sister company of the long-established fashion brand Kamiseta, M&Co. ventured into the direct-selling industry to prove a point — that fashion is wearable and that it can provide income to a lot of players.
The company is not just your ordinary fashion brand. It counts as its endorsers famous movie stars like Mikee Cojuangco and power couple Sen. Bong Revilla and Rep. Lani Mercado-Revilla. “Mikee has been with us since the beginning while Bong and Lanie joined the brand last year,” proudly says Gunn Roque, M&Co. president.
“Our collections are easy-to-wear and have a fashion-forward color palette,” continues Gunn. He adds that all collections — from tops and bottoms to underwear and intimates — are made from high-quality fabrics and the cuts are specifically designed to fit the brand’s target market. “Our men’s polos are all made from 100 percent cotton pique fabrics that are dyed to our specific color palette for the season. They are also pre-washed for softness and reinforced with twill tape on strategic parts for durability,” he says. “Meanwhile, trendy fun prints are found in the pieces in our ladies’ collection.”
The company also has a collection of shoes, bags, colognes and cosmetics for both men and women.
