A visit to the house of power

Reaffirming its aim of enriching the knowledge of its members on history and culture is the Society for Cultural Enrichment, Inc. (SCEI). Recently, members of the group had a tour of the Malacañang Palace. Led by the organization’s president, Angola Consul Helen Ong, SCEI members went down the political memory lane as they viewed art pieces and relics from the arrival of the Spaniards in 1521 to the Martial Law era. Indeed, every person interested in history should find time to take a tour of Malacañang where surprises await the discerning soul.

The event is known as the leading business-to-business beauty trade show event in Asia and Charade was the only Filipino invited to showcase her products to the world.
