In honor of the Cofradia dela Immaculada Concepcion, and in helping promote the best of Laguna, the vibrant community of Villa Escudero Plantations and Resort under the helm of visionary president and GM Don Ado Escudero, recently celebrated the grand Lanzones Festival at the hacienda’s verdant Casa de Bella Vista. The joyful celebration started with a solemn Mass officiated by Monsignor Melchor Barcenas accompanied by the heavenly hymns of the talented Santi Joannis Choir of San Pablo. Amidst the resort’s lush landscapes, devoted Cofradia members and special guests were treated to a bountiful feast of hand-picked lanzones and a sumptuous array of native delicacies. Everyone had a great time as they enjoyed the abundance of this fruit, and the rich Filipino offerings that could be found only at Villa Escudero.
