The power of two
Accomplished fashion designer, cultural icon and artist Patis Tesoro, together with fellow artist Odette Cagandahan, recently showcased their magnificent works in a back-to-back self-titled exhibit at the Finale Art File in Makati City. It was indeed a brilliant, artistic collaboration as Patis used paper fans as canvas to exemplify her profound passion for detail and elaborate designs. Odette draws her inspiration from Patis’ fabrics creations, painting the fabric down to its intricate detail while conveying the raw emotional expressions of their wearers. The successful event was well-attended by art enthusiasts and significant personalities from the social, government and diplomatic circles such as Ambassador Virgil Reyes, former Sen. Santanina Rasul and Monique Villonco.
