A grand farewell

The gracious couple, the legal luminary Justice Lolong Lazaro and his lovely and generous wife Rose, recently hosted a farewell party for the very popular Ambassador of Turkey Adnan Basaga and his elegant wife Oya. Held at the plush Manila Polo Club, the gathering of close friends of the Turkish couple was made more memorable with the numerous enjoyable experiences and friendships in the Philippines formed by the ambassador and his lady. Seen among the guests at the splendid gathering were Zuellig president Kasigud Jamias, Asian Development Bank (ADB) president Haruhiko Koruda, Justice Bernardo Pardo, Australian consul general Hugh Wilson with wife Georgette, Consuls Louie and Mellie Ablaza and Brigitte Macdonald, wife of European Commission head of delegation to the Philippines Ambassador Alistair MacDonald.
