Celebrating women

MANILA, Philippines - All roads led to the Shangri-La Plaza recently for the Women of Allure 2010 photo exhibit. On hand to welcome guests were Allure editor Joanne Rae Ramirez, STAR Group VP Lucien Dy Tioco and Shangri-La Plaza EVP and GM Lala Fojas. They also gave tokens of appreciation and gift packs from Olay and Smart Communications to the Women of Allure — singer-actress Karylle, broadcaster Vicky Morales, magazine editor Pauline Suaco-Juan, Ever Bilena spokesperson Khristine Gabriel, Volvo assistant vice president Loi Concepcion-de Guzman, architect Nikki Boncan and Olympian/TV host Christine Jacob-Sandejas.

The program was hosted by Allure columnist Philip Cu-Unjieng. Velvet Mood String Quarter provided ambient music while guests enjoyed sumptuous food by Hizon’s Catering. There was also a raffle where four lucky guests won gift certificates from Kamiseta.
