'Mutya ng Lungsod Quezon 2009'
MANILA, Philippines - Renee Salud, topnotch fashion designer, mentor-discoverer of beauty queens and managing director of Mutya ng Lungsod Quezon Beauty Pageant announces the search for the 2009 Mutya ng Lungsod Quezon. The prestigious pageant search of one of the country’s premier cities is looking for lovely, talented and intelligent young women ages 18 to 25 years old, at least 5’5”-tall, single and never been married, with good moral character and a legal resident of Quezon City. Preliminary screening are scheduled on Oct. 3 and 4 at the second floor of SM City North Edsa Annex and today at SM City Fairview from 10 a.m. onwards.
The grand winner and runners-up of Mutya ng Lungsod Quezon 2009 will receive cash prizes, an array of fabulous gifts from pageant sponsors and the chance to represent Quezon City in a national beauty pageant next year.
Over the past year, Mutya ng Lungsod Quezon has produced a long list of national beauty titleholders, which includes Bb. Pilipinas International 2008 and Miss International finalist Patricia Fernandez, Bb. Pilipinas 2008 second runner-up Elizabeth Nacuspag, Bb. Pilipinas 2008 finalist Kathleen Phylis Guererro, Miss Philippines-Water 2006 and Mutya ng Pilipinas 2008 first runner-up Katrina Rigets, Mutya ng Pilipinas 2006 third runner-up Lorraine Erum and Mutya ng Pilipinas 2007 finalist Monica Mendoza.
