In celebration of friendship
In the subject of celebrating real and convivial friendship, Rachy Cuna can never be left behind. The country’s “floral architect” and patron of the arts, if may I say, is a lover of life; therefore, every friend of Rachy becomes a recipient of his loving kindness.
Just recently, Rachy hosted a party at Casa Celestina to honor the China-ASEAN Association (CAC) led by Gu Xiu Lian. The fete was given by the Association of the Philippines-China Understanding (APCU) of which Rachy is the vice chairman. APCU director Lyn Sunico co-hosted with dearest Rachy the sumptuous dinner composed of adobo, laing, lechon, prawns, the Casa Celestina “star” salad and many more. He also surprised his guests with 10 flavors of Filipino-flavored ice cream from Fiorgelatto.
The affair took place after the APCU and CAC held a forum on “The Philippines-China Friendship Cities” at the Diamond Hotel recently. APCU president Josie Joya-Baldovino made sure the forum would be an enjoyable one.
This early, Rachy said, members from the two countries are preparing for a grand event in celebration of the 35th year of diplomatic ties between Manila and Beijing.
And expect the event to become another venue for a celebration of friendship. Rachy will make sure it will be another memorable event.
