'Flawed and Beautiful'

MANILA, Philippines - Difficult as it may be for women to accept, their seeming imperfections, when embraced and celebrated, turn out to be the key ingredients to the power and confidence needed to achieve great heights in life. This is the message that Sara Black, together with Dove, delivered through the launch and photo exhibit of her book, “When I Look in the Mirror,” at The Gallery at Greenbelt 5. Present at the event were a multitude of truly beautiful women who showed up in support of building a world of positively-empowered women, who will not be boxed into society’s limiting definitions of beauty.

“When I look in the Mirror” is yet another positive addition to Dove’s growing roster of projects to strengthen every woman’s self-esteem and to inspire women to see themselves as truly unique and beautiful individuals.
