STAR Dream Girl: Veronica Scott
March 25, 2007 | 12:00am
Her true-to-life fairy tale seems to be lifted from the pages of the Ugly Duckling. Not many people know that the lady with a beautiful face and lithe frame that graced many a fashion editorial was an unfashionable kid in high school.
Full-time model Veronica Scott, 20, who confidently stands at 5’7", says "knowing myself better has helped me become comfortable in my own skin."
Veronica has done fashion shows for Mango, Guess and Folded&Hung. She also appeared in the wacky Cloud 9 commercial casually saying that famous "I belong!" line.
She loves nature, too. In fact, Greenbelt at sunset fascinates this daughter of Paul Marsh and Annabelle Mortejo.
"I am not afraid of anything," exclaims the bubbly and outgoing Veronica, who is half-Filipino and half-Australian. "A life lived in fear is a life half-lived." Her zeal for life is very evident in activities she enjoys. She has been dancing since she started walking. "The feeling I get when I dance is a state of bliss. The first time I stepped into the stage and performed, I knew I wanted to be in the entertainment industry," she shares.
Veronica is an "ugly duckling" no more. She has transformed to become a beautiful swan and her wings are full right now with various modeling projects in the coming months. Veronica, however, is making sure she’s in the vicinity when the potential Prince comes along. For sure, they will live happily ever after.â€â€Â--Jerni May H. Camposano
