STAR Dream Girl: Katherine San Jose

-
At 22, Katherine San Jose makes sure she’s treading the right path to entrepreneurial success. With a few units left before she finishes her course of Computer Engineering at Mapua Institute of Technology, she is wasting no time. Greatly inspired by Robert Kiyosaki’s best-selling book Rich Dad, Poor Dad, Kathy knows the importance of financial independence by investing, involving in real estate and using finance protection tactics.

Kathy, the youngest among four children of Louis San Jose and his wife Sally, learned at a very young age how to value money and take care of her finances. That’s why on certain days, the 5’6" looker keeps herself busy manning her little kiosk that sells cell phones in a mall in Makati. She is also already planning for another lucrative endeavor in the near future.

"I believe that we are given two great gifts — our mind and our time," she philosophizes. "Whatever choices we make now contribute to our choices tomorrow. We are responsible for our own decisions."

With her entrepreneurial savvy, plus an undeniable charm that’s working to her advantage, Kathy will surely make it big in business in time. Kathy is also enamored by the world of modeling, another thing that keeps her busy. She’s appeared in various CD Jeans campaigns and has done corporate and events modeling. To look best in that perfect runway dress, the jolly and friendly lass sweats it out in the gym and badminton court. Like any other girl, Kathy loves shopping. Traveling and hiking are also on her list.

"The only way to get out of the rat race is to prove your proficiency at both accounting and investing, arguably two of the most difficult subjects to master," shares Kathy, quoting from the book that had "made her into a better entrepreneur." —Jerni May H. Camposano
