Filipinos shone at the recent Zonta International Convention when the first Asian and the very first Filipina was installed as the organizations new president. Olivia Ferry of the Zonta Club of Makati & Environs will preside over the affairs of Zonta International, a global organization of executives and professionals working together to advance the status of women worldwide through service and advocacy. The convention at the Melbourne Exhibition Center drew tens of thousands of Zonta members around the world.

Venture 7 holds it first yearly Bazaar on Oct. 8, Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Grand Ballroom of the Hotel InterContinental Manila. The bazaar will have many young entrepreneurs feature unique items from all over the world.
