STAR Dream Girl: Natascha Ackermann
October 16, 2005 | 12:00am
Who says 13 is an unlucky number? Ask budding model Natascha Ackermann and most probably, youll get a dissenting opinion.
Sixteen-year-old Natascha was born on March 13. She lives in the 13th house in their subdivision. She gets most modeling projects on the 13th day of the month, including her first stint as a commercial model for a leading face powder brand. From her savings, she was able to purchase suite #13 in a metropolitan condominium.
With her Eurasian looks and whistle-bait figure, Natascha definitely deserves your second look. A freshman Journalism student at the University of Sto. Tomas, she is a refreshing cut above the rest.
Away from the spotlight, she enjoys reading literature books and writing poems. Shes not just good on the catwalk but on the dancing stage as well. Natascha has been a member of the Ballet Philippines since she was four years old. "Dancing helps me maintain my figure," says Natascha, who also dances jazz.
The eldest daughter of German orchestra member Peter Ackermann and Moonyeen (neé Opao) from Negros Occidental, Natascha loves European food, particularly pasta dishes.
All work and no play make her dull, she knows. So on weekends, she knows what a good time is by hanging out in Greenbelt and Embassy.
"Modeling is such a learning experience for me," Natascha says. On her beauty regimen, she shares, "I make sure I remove my makeup after Im done with work."
Asked if she wants to try her luck in showbiz, she replies, "I want a private life so its the least of my priorities as of now."
To Natascha, a STAR Dream Girl is "someone whos beautiful in and out and is not afraid of expressing herself." Jerni May Camposano
