Hong Kong highness

Tall, intelligent and utterly beautiful, Marilyn Santiago embodies the ultimate modern woman. Married to Swire Properties head honcho Keith Kerr, Santiago has made Hong Kong her home and has established a name for herself as the Martha Stewart of HK living.

For this photo shoot, we went uptown to Swire Properties’ luxe Pacific Place, Festival Walk and headed downtown to the backroads, market stalls and alleyways with a memorable stop to an awe-inspiring Buddhist temple.

"I have a pretty hectic schedule," Santiago relates. "I do put a lot of thought to my appearance when entertaining or when I go out. But comfort is an essential consideration in selecting a garment. Once I put on an outfit, I expect to forget about it. I also believe that a woman’s confidence, warmth and wit add great flavor to what she wears."

Clearly, Santiago’s radiant personality leaves an impact on everyone she meets. For this project, we chose trench coats and suits in soft, breathable twill blends as well as feminine chiffon blouses and stretch blend pants.

"These clothes can be dressed up or down. I can wear them while speaking to business people and then quickly don a few accessories and head to a social gathering," Santiago adds. "Women are multi-faceted creatures. I appreciate an outfit that can adjust to our various dimensions!"
