Star Dream Girl: Angela Antonio

-
Twenty-two-year-old Angela "Angel" Antonio is a Management-Engineering graduate of the Ateneo de Manila University in Quezon City. The 5’5"-tall Angel works in an IT consulting firm, where she does supervising and programming.

Angel, the daughter of Georgie Antonio and the former Blanquita Figueras, is someone who works and plays hard.

"I’m an achiever," Angel says. "I always give my 100 percent in everything I do. For example, I exerted a lot of effort to learn computer science since I didn’t have any related formal training or education in it. So, I tried to learn the basics right there and then."

"To recharge for another tiring day, I find time to relax. I go out of town or dine out with my friends," continues Angel. " This is how I manage work-related stress. It has been effective."

The traveler that she is, Angel has toured European countries like Spain, London, Switzerland; the US; and in Asia, Hong Kong and Bangkok.

"I love sight-seeing," says Angel. "In traveling, there’s always new to see and learn. More importantly, I appreciate what do we have here and what other things we can improve on."

If there’s one place Angel is eager to see, "It is Bohol for its beaches and whale-watching."

Angel, who also enjoys playing Badminton, wishes to work in a financial firm and to get her MBA at the Kelogg University in Chicago.

Angel believes that the main ingredients of success are, "Patience and hard work. And if there are failures, don’t let them bring you down."

To a STAR Dream Girl like Angel, " One is beautiful when one cares for others. The less one thinks of oneself, the more one becomes beautiful." – Jerry Donato
