Star Dream Girl: Ma. Cecilia Antonette Gerodias
February 22, 2004 | 12:00am
Sixteen-year-old Ma. Cecilia Antonette "Maan" Gerodias is a senior high school student at St. Benedict College in Alabang. Charming and petite Maan plans to take up BS Biology in college in preparation for a medical career. "I want to follow the path Dr. Vicki Belo has successfully trekked," says Maan. Just like her idol, Maan wants to help women look beautiful inside and out.
Maan, the daughter of Armando Gerodias and the former Crisanta Papag, both entrepreneurs, believes that "Every individual is created equal by God. Thus, we should consider each of us blessed and treat each other right."
Maan, a badminton enthusiast, describes herself as a "simple girl with lots of ambitions and aspirations in life." She values the people who comprise her support system. "They are the ones, in one way or another, who nurture me to become a better person," she says.
To achieve ones dreams, Maan believes, "One must explore ones self and many things in life. One has to be adventurous and outgoing."
"A STAR Dream Girl," Maan ends, "is flexible and down to earth. She can deal and mingle with people from all walks of life." Jerry Donato
