STAR Dream Girl: Lizel Sangalang
December 14, 2003 | 12:00am
The 57"-tall, Lizel Sangalang always elicits a second look.
Lizel, "Zel" to her friends, is a Nursing student at the Fatima College in Fairview, Quezon City. By becoming a nurse, this 21-year-old hopes to serve and help fellow Filipinos who seek health services.
Lizel, the daughter of entrepreneur Elmer Sangalang and the former Jocelyn Fuertes, is also a budding model.
"I want to do ramp and commercial modeling," says Lizel. "I would like to experience being on center stage."
Slim and trim Lizel describes herself as "someone who maximizes her time doing things she could possibly accomplish early on in life." She plans to finish another degree (Political Science) and then enter Law school after finishing and practising Nursing for a couple of years.
If things go on her way, this STAR Dream Girl says will likely owe her success to "patience in waiting for the right opportunities, hard work, a sense of direction, and love of work." Jerry Donato
