Yes, Virginia it is possible to look absolutely stunning and still appear natural.
One need not be like the cake in MacArthurs Park!
Super makeup artist Eric Maningat gives us a step-by-step guide to achieve a perfectly natural-looking fresh face.
After skin was washed, concealer was applied on the trouble areas. (We used VMV SPF 60 Tinted Foundation in a light shade.)
An overall foundation was then used for the rest of the face. (We used VMV SPF 60 Tinted Foundation in a flesh tone.)
Using a clown brush, powder was applied. (We used Illuminants Protective Camouflage Powder Foundation with Sunblock in beige tone.)
Eyelids were contoured in a half circle following the natural shape of the lid. (We used rosewood of VMV Super Eyes Vintage wine series.)The areas nearest the lashes were lined. (We used VMV eyebrow and shadow in black.)
Eyelashes were given a lift using eyelash curler. (Shu Uemura lash curler was used.)
Eyelashes were thickened using mascara. (We used Maybelline Dial-A-Lash.) Eyebrows were contoured by filling out natural shape of brows. (We softened the models brows by using Hot Cocoa of VMV Super Eyes 24K.)
Highlights were used on the brow bone and in between the inner eye and nose bridge using brie shade of VMV Super Eyes Vintage wine series. The nose was contoured using soft auburn powder of VMV Super Eyes Lauras Burgundy Series.
Using continuous strokes with a moist brush, the line was softened.
Cheeks were given a rosy tinge using a soft burgundy-terracotta powder. (We used Bugatti shade of VMV Chromatics.)
Excess powder was used to contour jawline and temples.
Lips were lined with a creamy lip pencil. (We used Red Earth in Brick Red.) Lips were filled with moist lipstick. (We used Luminescence Lipstick in Sparkling Rose.
Highlights were placed under the eyes. (We used Silver Fox of VMVs Paris-Dakkar Series)
