Of pearls and plates

In a dazzling celebration of Filipino artistry, Jewelmer, led by its distinguished CEO Jacques Christophe Branellec, and in partnership with Hapag MNL located at The Balmori Suites in Rockwell Center, Makati City, recently unveiled Pearls of the Archipelago, a one-night-only immersive dining affair where elegance met innovation at every turn.
Each thoughtfully curated course, inspired by the maison’s luminous South Sea pearl collections, was masterfully translated into a sensory culinary journey by Hapag MNL head chefs and co-owners John Kevin Navoa and Thirdy Dolatre, with gracious support from Ricky Andres and Bubu Andres.
The enchanting evening was further elevated by a showcase of exquisite jewelry, soulful live music from the Jewelmer Jazz Band, and radiant appearances by muses adorned in golden South Sea pearls.
More than a dinner, the inaugural event was a refined homage to craftsmanship as both brands continue to champion Philippine excellence: Jewelmer through its rare pearls, and Hapag as a trailblazing Michelin-starred beacon of Filipino cuisine on the global stage.
