Of tradition and a splendid gala
The Friends for Cultural Concerns of the Philippines (FCCP), under the luminous leadership of new president Isabelita “Ningning” De Ocampo, launched a dazzling new chapter that sparkled with elegance, inspiration, and palpable energy.
The highly-anticipated induction night, held at the stunning Galerie Aveline of SJW Building in Makati City, welcomed an unprecedented 60 new members, reflecting the organization’s growing influence and renewed vitality.
The evening blended solemnity and celebration, beginning with a Holy Mass punctuated by the soulful voices of FCCP scholars, flowing seamlessly into fellowship and dinner with the welcome remarks delivered by vice president Terry Tambunting and a valedictory address that reflected on years of stewardship and service given by immediate past president Baby De Jesus, while the induction of officers and board of trustees was officiated by Bulacan 4th District Rep. Linabelle Villarica.
Other highlights included stirring artistic performances, a vision-filled inaugural message from president Ningning, and warm tributes to outgoing leaders, all underscoring the organization’s unwavering commitment to cultural excellence, scholarship, and nurturing the next generation of Filipino talent. It was a night where tradition met forward-looking momentum, leaving no doubt that the group is poised for a vibrant and impactful year ahead.
Giving thanks
The radiant Agile Zamora was feted with a heartwarming thanksgiving celebration that sparkled with joy, friendship, and heartfelt moments. Hosted by her close friend Bobby Alvarez at the chic Fable Café + Lounge restaurant of Grand Hyatt Manila Residences in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, the intimate gathering brimmed with laughter, delightful conversations, and an unmistakable spirit of gratitude. The woman of the hour, glowing both in style and spirit, was surrounded by cherished friends who all gave a toast to another fabulous year and a life beautifully lived. Indeed, it was an evening of elegance and effervescent fun, a fitting tribute to a woman whose warmth lights up every room she enters. It was evening of elegance and effervescent fun.
