Reflections in gratitude

Year-end gatherings bring out the best in everyone as family members and friends reunite. They are moments filled with gratitude, reflection, and a shared yearning to extend life’s blessings beyond themselves — turning celebration into connection and thankfulness into generosity.

 Rica and James de Jesus: “We have always been drawn to unique destinations, but when we get together, it reminds us that it’s never really about where we go, it’s about who we share the journey with. Grateful for the bond, the laughter, and the memories — and so looking forward to more time together with the ‘Krew.’”

Sergie and Tina Valencia: “I am happy for the arrival of our grandchildren Aiden, Adriana, and Ines. Grateful for blessings that family and friends bring, and I look forward to more time together with them in 2026.”

Eduard Garcia: Eduard found peace, love, and dear friendships in Paris, a place he fondly calls home “behind the red door.” In 2026, he embraces life between Paris and Bacolod, grateful for two homes, a fresh Scandi-inspired redesign with his partner Pål, and a simpler, more grounded way of living. 

Chiqui Prieto: Chiqui is deeply thankful for God’s many blessings and the cherished moments when her family is complete, despite loved ones living abroad. In 2026, she looks forward with gratitude to His continued kindness — good health, happiness, and opportunities to grow and give back wherever life may lead.

Irene Martel Francisco: Irene’s happiness remains rooted in family, grateful for the joy she shares with Randy and Isabel, and the opportunities that came her way in 2025. Linda Ley: Linda was most grateful in 2025 for watching her grandson, Lewis, grow and hearing him say, “I love you” for the first time. In 2026, she looks forward to spending more time with him, traveling as a family, and cherishing simple joys — babysitting, playtime, and being present for everyday moments.

 Rachelle Ng: Reflecting on 2025, Rachelle is grateful for moments of closeness, healing, meaningful work, and inspiring collaborations, including projects that touched lives deeply. In 2026, she hopes to live with greater intention — embracing kindness, presence, and quiet victories — while continuing to pursue purposeful work with gratitude and courage with supportive husband, Jun.

 Karen Lerma: Karen is most grateful for having her sons together again in the same time zone, unforgettable family travels across South America, and the milestone celebration of Salcedo Auctions’ 15th anniversary with an exceptional team. In 2026, she looks forward to new ventures, meaningful projects, and spending as much time as possible with her children.

Carlo Rojas: Carlo reflects on 2025 as a year of curated pleasures — culinary journeys, impromptu dinners with close friends, spontaneous outings, and cherished time with family. In 2026, he looks forward to more refined joys, meaningful connections, and continued exploration of his passion for fine jewellery and life’s quiet luxuries.
