Now in its 13th year, “Beauty Addict: Decoded” transformed Rustan’s Makati into a neon-lit playground recently, bringing together innovation, artistry, and community in a way only Rustan’s could.

I was there on opening day, and the energy was palpable from the moment I stepped into the Beauty Hall. A DJ spun lively beats that instantly set the tone, making the space feel more like a party than a store. At every counter, surprises awaited such as: flowers arranged on the spot to your liking, pouches painted by artists, live portraits, ice cream, and irresistible discounts. It felt like a festival where every corner whispered, “Here’s a treat just for you.”

This year’s theme, “Decoded,” leaned into a futuristic aesthetic. Think neon circuits, holographic textures, and immersive tech-inspired design. Walking through the glowing portal into the Beauty Hall felt like stepping into a new dimension where science, technology, and self-care intertwined. A sleek photo zone with soft lighting and reflective surfaces became the perfect backdrop for guests to capture their best angles.

True to tradition, Rustan’s showered its loyal Beauty Addict members with exclusive privileges. Early birds scored vouchers from Face Sculpt and shopping bonuses, while every guest received a sleek Rustan’s Beauty Addict Metal Gua Sha Face Tool to elevate their skincare ritual. Those who spent P10,000 enjoyed a generous P1,000 discount stackable with other promos, an irresistible incentive for indulgence.

Members were also invited to Build Your Own Beauty Kit, curating a limited-edition pouch filled with minis of their favorite products: a personalized touch that embodied the event’s theme of decoding beauty to suit individual desires.
