The 73rd FAMAS Awards a resounding success

The 73rd Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Awards was a resounding success, not only celebrating achievements in film but also recognizing individuals and organizations for their exceptional contributions in humanitarian work, education, the arts, and public service. This year also marked the 2nd installment of the prestigious FAMAS Special Awards, honoring exemplary efforts beyond the screen.
Among the distinguished honorees was Dr. Betty Lao Ang, who received the Excellence in Business Leadership and Diplomatic Service Award. The ceremony was held at the Fiesta Pavilion of the Manila Hotel. Dr. Lao Ang has long been an active advocate of diplomatic and philanthropic causes, supporting numerous foundations and charitable organizations throughout her career.
Other notable awardees included: Rep. Mila Magsaysay, Cory Navarro Bernardino and Vivian Caramba,Chuck Gueco, Boy Lizaso, Cory Navarro, Bing Carreon. They were each honored with the Excellence in Governance and Public Service Award, in recognition of their dedicated service and outstanding leadership in their respective fields.
The FAMAS Awards continues to elevate individuals who not only excel in cinema but also embody the values of compassion, leadership, and nation-building.
