Warmth, laughter and the joy of lasting friendships

Jed Fernandez celebrates with gratitude
Jed Fernandez marked his milestone birthday with an intimate gathering at Project Vino Reserve, Proscenium in Rockwell Makati. The celebration, a tradition organized yearly by his best friend Allana Montelibano, was filled with warmth, laughter, and the joy of lasting friendships. Surrounded by family and close friends, Jed reflected on the year that was and the bonds that continue to inspire him.
Beyond personal milestones, the businessman with multi ventures and a philanthropic heart looked back at the year and shared: “I’m proud that our team grew by over a thousand people this year. Creating jobs while moving the company forward feels very rewarding.”
Asked what matters most to him, Jed replied: “Family, friends, and good health. And ahead — Ibiza soon.”

A birthday toast to friendship for Jaime Ponce De Leon
It was an evening of art and camaraderie as Jaime Ponce de Leon recently hosted an intimate birthday dinner within the hallowed halls of his celebrated space, the Leon Gallery. Known for staging historic auctions and championing Philippine art, Jaime turned the spotlight into a different canvas that night: the enduring friendships that have fueled his journey.
The dinner, set against a backdrop of rare masterworks, brought together a carefully handpicked circle of guests —friends who have stood by him through triumphs and challenges alike. True to his gracious nature, Jaime expressed that the evening would be a relaxing one with classical pianist Brian Berino sharing his musical prowess on a Steinway piano that renowned Van Cliburn performed with and is set to be auctioned on Sept. 13 as part of Leon’s magnificent auction.
“I have much to be thankful for this year. Foremost would be my graduation from OPM at Harvard which was quite a commitment for three years.” Jaime added, “Work-wise, we are proud to have sold the world record for a painting by our first National Artist Fernando Amorsolo, as well as the success of the esteemed collection of Alfredo and Irene Roces, which was a white-glove sale.”
Always gracious, he smilingly acknowledged, “Above all, being in the midst of family and friends, surrounded with love, is the most fulfilling of all. As to the future, I wish to find more treasures to touch more lives and inspire more people.”
