Eight birthdays for Tina Cuevas
Birthday gal Tina Cuevas

During a recent dinner, a friend remarked that Tina Cuevas is not only popular but well-liked by so many. Exuding positivity and generosity of spirit, one will never hear a bad word or anything negative coming from Tina. And, going by her popularity, the celebrations in her honor for the month of June were non-stop (with more celebrations lined up for this July).

It started off with the first dinner on June 2 by Irene Martel Francisco at M Dining, then a salubong party at the Manila House with 32 cheerful guests on June 11, Alice Eduardo’s intimate dinner for good friends with a special birthday cake for Tina on June 14, Blackbird’s dinner hosted by artistic couple Yiouri and Ria Augousti, to Philip and Ching Cruz hosting in their beautiful home on June 18, followed by Agnes Huibonhua and Jojie Dingcong’s Manila House dinner with 42 guests to honor not only Tina but Capt. Stanley Ng and Kirk Bondad as well. June 23 was Ricco Ocampo’s turn to celebrate in his mid-century home with house specialties, while on June 25, it was the turn of Fe Rodriguez to fete triple celebrants: Tina, Irene Francisco and Paolo Martel.

Fe Rodriguez celebrates Gemini lady Tina Cuevas with Duday Tuason, Nikki Martel, Joanna Francisco, Irene Martel Francisco, Cristina and Paolo Martel, Anton San Diego, Ching Cruz and Camilla Martel

Taking time from her busy schedule, Tina reminisced about her numerous travels, “The past year was a year of fantastic and memorable trips with friends — including a beautiful wedding in Italy of Tetta Agustin’s daughter, Tosca, that got me and a lot of our friends together in beautiful Rome. That was a celebration to remember. Another notable trip was spending some time in the south of France and Paris with six friends traveling and exploring to make lasting memories.” She added, “I am very grateful for the opportunity to explore the world with them. However, I am most grateful for my family and being blessed with good health — in the past year and always!”
