The well-loved Nene Leonor hosted an enchanting evening at Shang Palace restaurant in Makati Shangri-La, Manila in honor of the lovely Edna Lhuillier and her husband Amb. Philippe Lhuillier.

The intimate gathering, which celebrated the long-time friendship of these distinguished ladies, featured a sumptuous Chinese lauriat dinner, with Peking Duck and steamed lapu-lapu as the stars of the feast.

Charismatic host Chris Badiola led the traditional noodle toss with his signature wit while some of the talented guests, including musician and entrepreneur RJ Jacinto, captivated everyone with their rendition of love songs and other famous hits.

Well-loved ladies Lanie Fong and Robina Tan hosted an intimate yet elegant birthday celebration at Canton Road restaurant in Shangri-La The Fort, Manila in BGC, Taguig City, where 20 close friends gathered for a night of laughter, camaraderie, and exquisite Cantonese cuisine.

The evening was filled with delightful conversations, with your columnist staying on until nearly the end, just in time for dessert. As a sweet finale, the gracious hosts treated guests to a special surprise: premium cookies lovingly baked by Lanie’s daughter, Michelle.

A truly memorable gathering filled with warmth, friendship, and delicious indulgence.

A special gala

The Philippine Heritage Society hosted a grand appreciation and thanksgiving party at the elegant East Ocean Palace restaurant in Aseana Business Park, Parañaque City. Led by the dynamic duo, president Sophia Yara and vice president Chanell Sun, the event was a heartfelt tribute to the unwavering dedication of its members.

In a poignant moment, plaques of recognition were also awarded to past president Kate Bellosillo and past vice president Jennifer Tipton Angeles for their outstanding contributions to the organization’s success.

Founders Tess Castro, Nathan De Leon, and Sherwin Sozon attended the event, making it a truly memorable evening of camaraderie and gratitude.
