We all know that prevention is better than cure. We can’t “add to cart” the discipline to keep at it, but at the recent Watsons Health and Wellness Expo 2024, the first and biggest health and wellness expo in the country proves that a few informed purchases can jumpstart your healthier habits.

“Through the Health and Wellness Expo, Watsons is reiterating its commitment to uplifting the health and wellness of the community,” says Watsons Philippines customer director Jared De Guzman. “This event aims to integrate and promote the importance of overall health and wellness, with the goal of making Watsons the go-to health destination offering a wide range of pharmacy products and services all under one roof. What better way to do that than in an event like this?”

Movement is just as important as eating healthy and taking the right supplements. Jo Villablanca of Holifit talks about the benefits of yoga at Watsons Health and Wellness Expo 2024.

Too lazy to take your vitamins? Gummies from brands like Healthfusion and Goli make it a treat that even kids can look forward to. Incorporate some probiotics like Erceflora Kiddie, too, as studies have proven that they help maintain our immune system.

Collagen drinks from brands like Belo and Watsons are associated with plumping the skin from within, but your joints can benefit from it, too. Looking for something more targeted? The capsule supplement Artroverton combines it with cartilage-building compounds like glucosamine.

Concerned you might need more than just supplements? Free health consultations, wellness sessions, and pharmacy services were offered at the expo. Over 52 brand booths offered discounts (as much as 70 percent off) and activities to interact with their customers better.

Onstage, medical experts and industry professionals like The Belo Group managing director Cristalle Belo shed light on some health and wellness issues while celebrity guests like Anne Curtis, Francine Diaz and Gabby Concepcion shared their health and wellness journeys.

Free fitness classes throughout the four-day event emphasized the importance of keeping the body moving. Confused about where to start? Community Pinoy Fitness talked about starting your Fitness journey. Jo Villablanca of Holifit demonstrated key bodyweight training. Want to get into running? It’s not too late to start now, according to Running 101 by WeKenRun. Coaches Roco and Martin showed you can get fit with dance.
