Max Mara, the luxury Italian brand worn by celebrities such as Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez, Angelina Jolie, Julia Roberts, Blake Lively, Gigi Hadid, and Katie Holmes, to royalty like Kate Middleton, recently launched its first store in the Philippines in Metro Manila’s luxury shopping mall, Greenbelt 3.

Max Mara deputy general manager in Hong Kong Daniela de Piccoli flew in for the official launch. Also gracing the special event were Marilou and Johnlu Koa, as well as the wife of the ambassador of Italy to the Philippines Maria Rosaria Brizi-Clemente, the Embassy of Italy in Manila’s deputy head of mission Eugeniu Rotaru, board of director of Ayala Land Inc. and senior vice president of BPI Mariana Zobel de Ayala, Ayala Malls president Christopher Maglanoc, and The Italian Chamber of Commerce president Sergio Boero.

The Max Mara store opening showcased the latest collections, including Max Mara mainline, S Max Mara and its selection of accessories, as well as its iconic coats.

Max Mara always aims at striking the alchemic balance that will make a garment immortal. In the world of fashion, very little achieves genuine iconic status. But Max Mara’s coats, such as the Manuela, the 101801, the Ludmilla and the Teddy, are collected by the best-dressed.

Shoppers can enjoy the new Max Mara store as the existing architectural elements of the building, such as vaulted ceilings and a skylight, naturally embellish the rooms and interact with Max Mara’s Italian heritage and contemporary spirit.

A well-balanced mix of strain gré, brass, metal, oak wood, and colorful marbles creates a welcoming atmosphere across the main living area, which is beautifully centered by a column in raw stone.

Finally, sophisticated furnishings from leading Italian design brands make the new store evoke Max Mara’s fundamental brand values of Italian craftsmanship and timeless construction.

The Max Mara store overlooks the main road, Makati Avenue, at the entrance of Greenbelt mall. Strategically located in the financial center capital, Makati City, Greenbelt is considered the best destination for luxury shopping in the city, and features a sprawling garden amid an outstanding shopping and dining paradise.

At the launch, guests were also treated to curated cocktails by Lartizan and The French Baker, from gin and tonics to quichettes and macarons.
