'PBB' housemate, beauty titlists among 40 Superbods 2026 finalists

MANILA, Philippines — What began as a fitness challenge 20 years ago has evolved into a powerful cultural, self-love and wellness movement.
Since 2006, the Century Tuna Superbods, organized by the canned-tuna brand, is redefining healthy living while elevating everyday Filipino heroes.
Some of the Philippines’ finest specimens have emerged victorious in the competition. Breaking boundaries and inspiring a nation toward an active lifestyle, the inaugural winners half-British Jon Mullally (who had a short-lived showbiz career as Jon Avila) and Fil-Am Michelle Padua.
The 2007 winners were Ram Sagad and Patty Ortega; 2009 winners were Van Victor Leaño and Theresa Fenger; 2010 winner was Renzie Ongkiko; 2012 winners were John Spainhour and Monika Sta. Maria; 2014 winners were Mauro Lumba, Sarah Polverini.
The 2016 winners were Fil-Ukrainian Olivia Medina and Fil-Swedish Tom Esconde; Fil-German Clint Bondad and Fil-Italian Ambra Gutierrez, who helped bring down sex predator Harvey Weinstein, finished as first runners-up.
Winners of the Century Tuna Superbods Ageless 2018 were Maureen Montagne (later The Miss Globe 2021) and Julz Aquino while Angel Jones (actor Tony Labrusca’s mom) and Johann Ludovica won the grand prize in the Ageless category. Anthony Wahl and Bella Ysmael (reigning Miss Philippines Cosmo 2026) won first runners-up in the Superbods category, while Mica Fuentes and Jerome Salvado emerged first runners-up in the Ageless category.
The winners of the Century Tuna Superbods 2020 were Samantha Ashley Lo (an LGBT former Binibini) and Sam Ajdani (a former Mister World Philippines). The 2022 grand winners were Kirk Bondad (reigning Mister International 2025) and Christelle Abello with first runners-up Gee Plamenco Jr. and Michelle Arceo (reigning Miss Tourism International Philippines 2026).
The Superbods 2024 #BestYouEver grand winners were Jether Palomo (a controversial Mister Pilipinas but pledges allegiance to another flag) and Justine Felizarta, who was Miss Tourism World 2022 first runner-up and Miss Universe Philippines Manila 2026.
This year’s theme is the “Superbod Era,” and 40 finalists were announced by former winner Maureen Montagne and radio DJ KC Montero during a callback at Novotel Hotel, Araneta City, on July 11.
The Top 20 male finalists who advanced include Aaron Maniego, Ameer Ahid, Herschel Verne Sanchez, Arvin Corpuz, Jay Gonzaga, Jaco Benin, Paul John Galang, Christopher lan El Jouni, Joselito Florendo, Prince de Guzman, Rafael Cruz Tan, Ken Batino, Dominic Camozzi, RC Kashyap, Ricardo de Jesus, and Lorenzo Isip.
Also among the finalists are MJ Ordillano (reigning Mister Pilipinas Globe 2026), Austin Dizon Cabatana (Mister International 2023 first runner-up), Nunoy van den Burgh (a.ka. Nunoy Revlon in drag ballroom culture) and the first trans man contender, Kim Panique.
Meanwhile, the Top 20 female finalists are Alana Maris Montemayor, Janica Reloxe, Maan Marquez, Aleiah Torres, Jarly Verceles, Jasmine Rovelle Paguio, Ashley Cayuca, Chucel Njigha, Ronalyn Lalimo, Jilliane Robillos, Rovin Mizuse, Diane Querrer, Donnabelle Erno, Kristen Bea H. Chua, Thalia Joaquin, Vienne Luna, Gee Canlas, and Gia Gonzales.
Also among the contenders are Anna Valencia Lakrini, who represented the Philippines at The Miss Globe 2023 and placed second runner-up, and represented Germany at Miss Supranational 2025 and finished as first runner up; and model-actress Lou Yanong, a housemate at “Pinoy Big Brother: Otso” in 2019.
“Every edition, the Superbods competition evolves. But our core mission remains unchanged — to inspire Filipinos to unlock the healthiest, most vibrant versions of themselves,” said Carlo Endaya, vice president, general manager, and group business head of Century Pacific Food Inc.
As the contenders step into their “Superbod Era,” expect a celebration of health as a powerful life stage where passion, dedication, and holistic wellness come together.
“The incredible energy and stories we witnessed at the callback prove that the modern Filipino is ready to claim their own healthy era,” added Endaya, “and we are excited to see our new finalists inspire the nation.”
