RS Francisco to host Pride Month party in QC
MANILA, Philippines — Members of the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies are set to gather for a Pride Month celebration on June 26 featuring the Rainbow Street Party and Drag Race Showcase at Luxxe White HQ along Quezon Avenue.
The event will begin at 6 p.m. and will feature drag performances, music and other activities highlighting Pride Month celebrations.
Organizers said the gathering aims to provide a space for community engagement and visibility for LGBTQIA+ participants and their supporters.
RS Francisco said the event also seeks to highlight ongoing efforts toward greater inclusion and representation for the LGBTQIA+ community.
“For me, Pride has always been about honoring our shared humanity. It is about creating spaces where people can be seen, respected and appreciated for exactly who they are,” Francisco said.
He added that Pride is also about helping others gain the confidence to embrace their identity.
The event will feature drag performances, fashion-themed showcases, and entertainment acts as part of the celebration.
Pride Month is observed annually in June to recognize and support the LGBTQIA+ community and their contributions to society.
