SONA 2014 Red Carpet: Fashion barometer, hot or not

MANILA, Philippines – The State of the Nation Address (SONA) red carpet has been tagged by critics as the fashion show of clothes that people bought for public officials, but despite some distasteful comments about the luxurious and ostentatious event, it was still filled with designer gowns this year.

Aside from the much anticipated speech of President Benigno Aquino III and the protesting groups' screaming, a frenzied fashion circus featuring congressmen, senators and their spouses also turned up the heat a Celsius higher.
