I love writing for the Philippine Star because its a therapy for me

I like writing for the Philippine STAR because:
1) It has 100 times the circulation of the newspaper I used to handle for 11 years and which I eventually sold.
2) Max Soliven is my Confirmation ninong (sipsip!). Note: Not unwittingly! Miguel Belmonte is my dream Valentino (sipsip!) and Millet Mananquil is my fashion idol (sipsip!).
3) I have not written for three months and I still havent been fired. My editors have been so kind to have contributed to my well-being by not pounding me with ulcer-inducing deadlines.
4) It fits my illusion that I can be a writer after all, especially in a paper thats read from cover to cover.
5) This paper has sentimental value. This is where I started my so-called writing career 18 years ago when we still used typewriters, "snowpaked" all the mistakes, and sent our finished copy by pouch to The Philippine STAR office.
6) And finally, writing for the STAR is a therapy for me. Its better than beating up my husband (Chuckle! Chuckle!)
