Singer and style icon Pops Fernandez declared her passion for dressing people up with the launch of her clothing line called Pipay, which is Pops nickname. Helping her out are Fish’s Ricco Ocampo and Tina Maristela-Ocampo. Pops says, "I approached them and they’ve been supportive."
Last October 6, friends from show business led by Martin Nievera and fans showed up at the Orosa Atrium of Robinsons Place Ermita to witness the formal launch of Pipay and the unveiling of its logo. People were also treated to games and entertainment, a fashion show and autograph signing.
The new businessperson is elated. "I did Pipay really from scratch and I’m proud of the outcome." Pipay’s clothes are made from the most comfortable mix of cotton and spandex and the accessories are products of beads and stones.
"It’s actually a different world. I feel like a superwoman," Pops says about her being a fashion entrepreneur
